Hello champions! Today I want to present to you my High Five of the aggression events we have available. If you know me you know Aggression is my favorite aspect, I’ve tried to be an Aggression champion since the games release, I say that to say the aspect has come a long way and choosing these 5 was incredibly hard to narrow down to just 5.
Moment of Triumph
This is the hardest one I had a time deciding on but ultimately I decided it deserved to be here. For an aspect that traditionally struggled handling threat giving us a built in heal so we didn’t need to flip to AE and recover as often was a game changer. I don’t include it in Thor anymore in favor of Godlike Stamina but for other aggression decks this is still a great card to stay hero side up.
Smash the Problem
To this point all of our threat removal for Aggression has centered around defeating minions (chase them down, into the fray). Now we have another option, we can exhaust our hero to thwart for their ATK value! In heroes like Thor and Hulk this offers a great tool to maintain threat.
The Best Defense
Similar to smash the problem we get a way to defend with our high ATK heroes that utilizes their best statistic. This doesn’t work as well in event focused Aggro decks but it’s great for the ones focused on high ATK swings.
Looking for Trouble
Lots of other good aggro cards function off having minions in front of you. This card brings them out in front of you so you can get those cards off. And it’s another way to handle threat! This does 2 good things we want to do in aggression.
Bring It
Piggybacking off looking for trouble is the aggression equivalent of strength in numbers! We get a card for each minion engaged with us. There is no max so you can have all the minions and draw all the cards. It is limited to max once per phase but it would be really broken if it wasn’t limited. Drawing 2-4 cards when you play this is so great. Anytime we can draw it’s a bonus. Probably why so many of them make the high fives. Who would have thought being able to do more things on your turn is strong?!
